Yuck! green smoothies

That was also my first thought before trying my first green smoothie. Don’t be fooled by the color, they can both be deliciously tasteful and great for your health. In this recipe I have included my all time favorite breakfast smoothie.
Ingredients (approximately for one portion):
- 1 green apple, cored and chopped
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup cucumber, chopped
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- Ice
Instructions:
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Add ice as needed to reach your desired consistency.
3. Serve immediately and enjoy!
